Natural Pain Relief to Heal Faster

Why do I bruise so easily?

It is normal for the average person to get the occasional bruise from a bump or bang. Bruising can be very large and painful, but still be considered normal bruising. Sometimes bruises will appear out of nowhere and we do not remember what we did to cause the contusion.

Bruises results when small vessels near the surface of the skin rupture and leak blood into the surrounding tissue after a trauma or injury. This causes the skin’s appearance to change color, typically black-and-blue color but can be purple, reddish yellow or green. Arnicure will initially make the bruise darker but will make heal in half the time.

Different people have different thickness of blood vessels, thus some people will naturally bruise easier; the bruising does not mean there is a serious medical condition.  Severity and ease of bruising in some cases is a genetic trait.  If you parent bruises easily, and you bruise easily, it you can chock it up to genetics. Same for lucky individuals who do not bruise easily.

Also, regularly taking certain medications, such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or blood thinners result in the thinning of the blood, making blood less likely to clot, can make you more susceptible to bruising.  Other factors  that contribute to bruising is increased age and body fat levels. Deficiencies in these vitamins could also be causing your skin to bruise easily. Also consult your M.D. if your bruises become abnormally large or painful.  Additionally, increased occurrence and severity of bruising can be a symptom of a great medical condition that needs to be addressed by a healthcare practitioner.  Occasionally, bruises can be a sign of a blood disorder or liver problem that needs to be treated. Also, some common medical conditions in which bruising is a symptom or side effect are lupus, cirrhosis, leukaemia, haemophilia, Hodgkin’s disease, liver disease, diabetes and certain platelet disorders.
